The Jackpot prize grows every week until a winner is drawn. Winners present on-site during the competition earn even more from the prize pool! Didn’t win this week? Even if a winner is selected, 30% or more of the prize pool carries over to next week’s game.

Overview

The Queen of Hearts promotion is a weekly drawing designed to encourage guest engagement and repeat visits to Ralph’s American Grill. Guests may purchase entries daily, with one winner selected each Tuesday at 8:00 PM. The prize grows each week until the Queen of Hearts is drawn.

Eligibility

• Participants must be 21 years of age or older.
• No membership is required.
• Employees of Ralph’s American Grill are not eligible unless approved by ownership or management.

How to Enter

• Entries may be purchased any day during normal restaurant operating hours.
• Entries are available at the bar (or designated entry location).
• Each entry must clearly include:
  • Guest’s full name
  • phone number
  • selected card number (the card they want if their entry is drawn)
• Illegible, incomplete, altered, bent, or damaged entries are ineligible.
• All entries become property of Ralph’s American Grill.

Drawing Schedule

• Drawings are held every Tuesday at 8:00 PM.
• Entry sales close 30 minutes prior to the drawing (7:30 PM).
• One entry is drawn at random by a manager or designated staff member.
• The Queen of Hearts board remains secured except during the drawing.

Card Selection

• If the drawn entry includes a card number, that is the selected card.
• If the winner is present at the drawing, they may change their selection at that time.
• If the winner is not present and no card number is written, management will select a card at random.

Jackpot Structure & Payout Rules

To keep the game growing and consistent week-to-week:

Pot Split

• 30% of the weekly pot is always retained to seed the next week’s pot.
• 70% of the weekly pot is the “Available Winnings” for the drawn winner.

Presence Rule

• If the winner IS present at the Tuesday 8:00 PM drawing:
  • Winner receives 100% of the Available Winnings (70% of the pot).
• If the winner is NOT present at the Tuesday 8:00 PM drawing:
  • Winner receives 50% of the Available Winnings (35% of the pot).
  • The remaining 50% of the Available Winnings (35% of the pot) is added back into the jackpot.

Example

Example: If the total pot is $1,000

• $300 (30%) automatically carries over to start the next pot
• $700 (70%) is the Available Winnings
• Present winner receives $700
• Not-present winner receives $350
• The remaining $350 rolls into the next week’s pot

In this scenario, a total of $650 carries forward if the winner is not present.

Queen of Hearts Board

• Played with one standard 54-card deck (including two jokers).
• Cards are placed face-down on the board and numbered.
• Once a card is selected:
  • It is revealed
  • Removed from play
  • Displayed face-up on the board

Winning Outcomes

• If the selected card is Queen of Hearts:
  • Winner receives payout per the Jackpot Structure & Payout Rules above.
  • The game resets with a new board for the following week.
• If the selected card is not the Queen of Hearts:
  • That card is removed from play and displayed face-up.
  • The game continues to the next Tuesday drawing with the updated pot.

General Rules

• Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes. Tax documentation may be required prior to payout when applicable.//sp

• Ralph’s American Grill reserves the right to modify, suspend, or end the promotion at any time due to operational or legal considerations.
• Ralph’s American Grill reserves the right to use any photos or videos taken of participants during the event for promotional purposes.
